An Overview of Original Pressure Washers

Cold water pressure washers have been around for quite some time. In the beginning, pressure washers did not contain heating elements. Those machines relied only on the output pressure for cleaning tasks. Advances in technology mean that pressure washing machines can now provide a decent output temperature along with a high output pressure level. The following are some of the uses on non-heated machines and tips on selecting them.

Uses
Cold water pressure washing machines are still used for carrying out a number of cleaning tasks. These machines are less costly than hot water or steam pressure washing machines.

Cold water pressure washing machines are not recommended for heavy industrial cleaning, such as degreasing, but are prefect for lighter applications such as cleaning parks, pavement, stadiums, and parking lots. Non-heated pressure washers are best suited to clean where water is readily available and the place has sufficient water runoff facilities.

Tips for Buying
Since output pressure is the only source of cleaning power, these machines should have a reasonably high output pressure. For top performance in cleaning hard surfaces, machines may be equipped with up to 8000 psi, but these extreme levels are not necessary for every application.
